The Ayrshire Hospice is governed by the hospice Board of Directors, membership of which is drawn from the Ayrshire community. Board Members are elected, non-executive Directors and Trustees of the hospice and have equal responsibility in law for the actions and decisions of the Board.

John was appointed Chair of the Board in 2017 after joining in 2012. Read more
Elizabeth joined the Board in 2016 and was appointed Vice-Chair in 2017. She is also Vice Chair of both the Appointments and Development, and Financial Governance Committees and a member of the Clinical Governance Committee. Read more
Robin Hume joined the Board in 2014 and is current Treasurer. Robin chairs the Financial Governance Committee and is a member of the Capital Project Steering Group. Read more
Dr Hugh Brown joined the Board in 2016, is Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee and a member of the Capital Project Steering Group. Read more
Dr David Brooks joined the hospice Board in 2014. He Chairs both the Organisational Governance and Appointments and Developments Committees and is a member of the Clinical Governance Committee. Read more
Jean is a long-standing member of the Board having joined in 2009. She is a member of the Financial Governance Committee, Organisational Governance Committee and Capital Project Steering Group. Read more
