Summer Ball Committee

The Ayrshire Hospice Summer Ball has been a flagship annual event in the fundraising calendar since 1994. The fundraising committee celebrated their 25^th annual event on Saturday 2^nd June 2018. During this time the committee have raised a fabulous total of over £1.3m net income for Ayrshire Hospice.

Our current committee members are Laura Alexander, Lynn Bentley, Claire Currie and Margaret Jane Limond and they do such a wonderful job to support our hospice events team planning this wonderful event by approaching sponsors and sourcing fabulous auction and raffle prizes.

Jim Gilchrist

Jim Gilchrist and volunteer fundraising go hand in hand. He has been volunteering for over ten years for the hospice. Jim has also worked at some of the hospice events throughout the year. He supports the fundraising team during their events and has given up many of his days off work to volunteer at the hospice Ladies Night, Flower Shows and many of our Starlight Walks (including participating in some of them).
