Psychological and counselling support Psychological and counselling support is available to individuals and families who are affected by illness or bereavement. We provide a service for adults and also for children and young people between the ages of 0-18. You don’t need to have a connection with the hospice to receive support but need to live in Ayrshire and Arran and be experiencing difficulty due to life-limiting illness of either you or someone important to you or be bereaved as a result of this. The team consists of social workers, counsellors, chaplain (spiritual care) and students or trained volunteers.
