Liz joined the Ayrshire Hospice in January 2023, bringing with her a wealth of senior leadership experience.  A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and an accountant, Liz brings strong financial acumen to our Executive Leadership Team.

Liz has held a number of senior positions including Executive Chief Officer of Resources and Finance at Highland Council and Director of Finance and Operations/Deputy CEO at EMMS International, a Christian Healthcare charity.

When at Highland Council Liz held the statutory position of Section 95 Officer and led a directorate of 500 staff with key responsibilities of Finance, HR, Leadership Development, Health and Safety, Trade Union Partnership, ICT Transformation and Digital Strategy, Procurement and Business Support. Bringing a thorough understanding of income generation and how to fundraise, Liz has a focus on creating efficient and effective organisations.
