Sylvia Jean Webster

Sylvia Webster was a wonderful Wife, Mum, Grandparent, Great Grandparent, Sister, Aunt and friend. Sylvia was an inspiration to all those who knew her. Sylvia never complained and nothing was ever a bother. Sylvia loved her garden and trips out to the garden centres. She loved nature and all the beauties it brought. Scotland was her home and she spent many holidays touring Scotland with her family in a camper van. Sylvia loved animals and rehomed many unfortunate dogs and cats. In fact when she was a child she would pick up cats from the street and hide them under her bed. Neighbours would come to the door and ask if Sylvia had their beloved cat. Sadly pancreatic cancer was diagnosed in 2013 and underwent months of grueling cancer treatments. Then 8yrs later in May 2021 the cancer and returned but this time Sylvia's diagnosis was terminal in fact she was given weeks to live. Sylvia's courage over those last few weeks, 7 to be precise was to be commended. Sylvia's initial concerns were for her immediate family and not for herself. Sylvia will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
