My lovely husband. The kindest, most loving and helpful man I ever met. A wicked sense of humour and so selfless. Still active and making plans to cycle round the Mull of Kintyre right until the end. Words cannot express how much I miss him.

Condolences to Joanna and all the Gemmell family. We fully expected Rob to live to 100 judging by his cycling endeavours, which would have been exceptional for a man half his age. There seemed to be no stopping him but sadly he was stopped in his tracks by a cruel illness. With thanks to the hospice staff who looked after him so well through his final days.
