Back by popular demand, the Ayrshire Hospice Land o’ Burns Starlight Walk is returning on Saturday 20th May 2017 and is supported by The Cook School Scotland who are donating some delicious soup for all participants to enjoy.

Mary Drummond, Senior Fundraising Officer for the Ayrshire Hospice said ” We are delighted to have The Cook School, Scotland as a supporting sponsor this year and we are very grateful for their continued support. We know the participants will all appreciate a hot cup of hearty soup to keep them going along the route”.

You can join in the fun with DJ Colin McArdle as he spins the decks and a warm up routine from the girls at Curves Ayr before setting out, at 10pm, to walk your chosen route around Ayr. There are three routes to choose from - 4 miles, 9 miles and 13 miles and there will be lots of fun and entertainment to encourage you along the way!

You will receive a coloured t-shirt to wear on the walk as well as some complimentary fruit and snacks to keep you going. At the finish enjoy a well-deserved bacon roll and wear your commemorative medal with pride!

Main sponsor this year is Ayr Audi and supporting sponsors include Healthy Working Lives and the Piersland Hotel with Ayrshire Post, South Ayrshire Council, Barr’s Soft Drinks, Tesco, The Cook School Scotland, Curves and Tunnock’s.
