Give as you earn!

Thank you to North Ayrshire Council who invited us to promote our payroll giving scheme to employees in October. We were only too happy to talk to their staff about the benefits of supporting us through the scheme and were delighted by the number of people who expressed an interest!

Payroll giving is an easy way to support us on a regular basis direct from your salary. Each payday, your chosen donation amount is taken directly out of your gross salary by your payroll department. There is no need for the hospice to claim any tax back through Gift Aid and you can change or stop your donation at any time. Check with your employer to see if they offer payroll giving.

The Ayrshire Hospice is part of the Hospice UK payroll giving scheme.  Hospice UK handle the transfer of funds back to the hospice where we receive half of the donation and the other half supports the work of Hospice UK, the national voice for hospices across the UK.

The process of signing up is very simple. You can sign up online at the Hospice UK website – Just follow the online instructions in the give as you earn section and select ‘The Ayrshire Hospice’ as your chosen local hospice. Once you’ve signed up, Hospice UK sends the information to your employer’s payroll department and transfers the funds to the hospice.
