Make a Will Fortnight 2020 will run between 19th and 30th October when solicitors from across Ayrshire will kindly waive their fee and make your Will in return for a donation to the hospice.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been difficult for everyone and also a reflective time for many.  By making a Will, you can ensure that those closest to you are looked after in the future.  You can also make a difference to the continued care we give at the hospice by making a donation to our campaign.

It's easy to do - just find a solicitor, make an appointment with them and the solicitor will make your Will. All we ask is that you make a donation to the hospice in return.  We suggest a minimum donation of £60 for a single Will and a minimum donation of £100 for a pair of basic mirror Wills.

The care we provide is at no cost to our patients or their families.  Last year, it cost over £7.9 million to run all hospice services, equating to over £22,000 per day.  This require extensive, on-going fundraising support, energy and passion from the community. Making a Will will help us raise much needed funds.

Did you know that over two thirds of our funding comes from voluntary donations, including gifts in Wills?

Today matters. Arranging for a gift to the Ayrshire Hospice as part of your Will can make tomorrow matter too.

If the time is ever right for you to remember a charity in your Will, please remember Ayrshire Hospice.  Every gift in every Will, regardless of size, makes a difference to the exceptional and compassionate care that we provide to patients and their families today and in the future.  Did you know, you can leave us even 1% in your Will so those closest to you inherit 99%?
