When you are living with a life-limiting illness, it’s easy to feel isolated. If you would like to meet some like-minded people in a friendly, relaxed environment then our programme can help you take the first steps on your Living Well journey.

The Living Well Team invite you to join an eight-week rolling programme which aims to inform, enable and empower you to live well
with your illness. Each week we will discuss topics that both people living with illness and people supporting those living with illness have told us were most useful to them.

We have a 30-minute themed session where you can get information and chat through anything on your mind related to that topic
with our experienced team. Following the programme session, we have a further social session where you can connect with others
and build support from peers. You can choose what sessions are appropriate for you and join in as it suits you.

Living Well Clinic

Living Well Clinic's purpose is to provide specialist face-to-face support, in person or online, to people living with a diagnosed life-limiting illness in the community.

Our clinic offers appointments with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing staff.

Attending a clinic allows time and space in a confidential environment, away from home, to discuss how the diagnosis, illness and treatment are having an impact on your ability to lead a productive life and how to enable you to maintain or enhance your lifestyle as well as adapting to changes.

The clinic is based in the Kyle Chemotherapy Unit at Ayr Hospital on Tuesdays.
