Thanks for looking at my fundraising page. I think everyone across Ayrshire knows of someone who has benefitted from the support offered by the Ayrshire Hospice which is why I have decided to try and raise a few quid for this wonderful charity. The last time I did a charity fundraiser was back in 2011 when I completed my first marathon in Edinburgh. This is by far my biggest personal fitness challenge since then so I’d ask if you can spare a pound or two to please donate.

At 1am on Saturday 18th June 2022 I will be on the start line in Milngavie for the West Highland Way Race. I will run through the night, all the next day and well into Sunday night before I reach the finish line in Fort William 95 miles later. This is a non-stop race with no time for naps so I must be at the finish line by midday on the Sunday. I will have a wee support team, Sarah and Dawn, with me at various points to make sure I eat, drink and look after myself and will be joined in the latter stages of the race by Jo and Helen who will make sure I keep putting one foot in front of the other!
