100 miles in a day Donate Two years ago my dad died having being diagnosed with cancer three years previously. At the time of his diagnosis I understood, intellectually, what is provided by a hospice, but it was only when seeing the care and support that Ayrshire Hospice provided not just to my dad, but also to my mum, during those three years that I emotionally understood the need of those being cared for and the demand on those providing the care. From chemotherapy to pain management and haircuts, everything was taken care of. This is my small effort to say thank you.The challenge is to try and complete the West Highland Way in 24hrs, on foot, starting at 01:00 on Saturday 18th June. Ann Trason said “I’ve always just looked at 100 miles as a life in a day” - I am going to try and find out. https://westhighlandwayrace.org Stephen McEwan Manage Cookie Preferences
