About us Join our team Senior Fundraiser (Trusts and Foundations) VACANCY: Senior Fundraiser Trusts and Foundations SALARY: £23,189- £25,979 REF: AH 51-22 HOURS: 22.5 worked over 3 days Wednesday-Friday DURATION: Fixed term till 30th June 2024 LOCATION: Across Ayrshire About Us The Ayrshire Hospice provides quality specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting illness within Ayrshire and Arran. We provide a wide range of services and care in people’s homes, care homes and hospitals, as well as in the hospice itself. This is provided at no cost to our patients or their families. Our vision is to reach and improve the lives of everyone in Ayrshire affected by life-limiting illness. The role and what we are looking for We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our fundraising team as a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser. Demonstrable success securing grant income across the entire grant development process – from research; matching criteria; creating the project proposal; submission; grant-support; grant-offer; grant-monitoring; and relationship-building. The post requires strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage projects, organise and plan your own work and the work of others to deliver objectives on time. A knowledge and experience of office administration processes and practices, database management, customer service and direct sales is essential. Proficiency in a range of computer applications, particularly spreadsheets, databases, email and word processing and strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a demonstrable ability to effectively analyse and interpret financial information and prepare financial reports is required. You should have excellent communication skills both written and oral and have an ability to communicate confidently and clearly to a range of diverse audiences and to achieve objectives through these contacts. This will involve negotiation skills, motivation, influencing, tact, diplomacy and persuasion. You should also be able to demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising environment and dealing with donors and the general public is desirable.
