Help make today matter by supporting the Ayrshire Hospice as a Driver's Assistant.

Volunteers play a huge part in the running of our stores and our retail chain could not function without the support they provide.

We have various volunteer opportunities in our stores in our locations throughout Ayrshire.

Driver's Assistants support our hospice shops by ensuring that stock is replenished within our shops by carrying out deliveries of donations from our central warehouse to each location.

They also assist in the collection of donations from donor’s throughout Ayrshire and promote the work of the hospice whilst representing in the community.

Benefits of Volunteering with Ayrshire Hospice

Volunteering with us is flexible and fits around work and life commitments. Giving just 2 to 4 hours per week can make a real difference.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people and be included in a caring, diverse group of people and perhaps even make some new friends for life!

Many volunteers feel a sense of belonging as they have a chance to make a difference to others’ lives and be part of something more.

The knowledge and skills used in all of our volunteer roles can be great for students looking to enhance their experience and CV to give them an edge in future job applications.

Regardless of your reasons for wanting to volunteer we hope that you, along with our other volunteers have fun and enjoy any amount of time you are able to have with us!
