Our nurses and frontline staff are needed more than ever. Support our Summer Appeal today and help us continue to care for patients and their families when they need us most.

Covid-19 has not changed what we do but it has meant that we've had to adapt our services. The hospice is still as friendly and welcoming as ever, but things look a little different. With the exception of patient care, we have to remain two metres apart from one another. We've also had to reduce the number of visitors to our In-Patient Unit at the hospice.

Our Community Nurses and Respite and Response Team continue to provide outstanding care to patients and their families in their own home. Our Family Support Teams are reaching recently bereaved families through video calls and on the phone. We're unable to hold our regular Carers' Café, but we've set up a virtual café on Zoom to ensure that we are there for our carers - even if it's only virtually. Maria Wan, one of our Care Assistants in the Respite and Response Team, talks about why our care is so important - click here to read her story.
