At the very heart of our new Hospice home, you’ll find Gargowan Café – a bright, light-filled space to relax, refuel and enjoy fresh, local flavours.

Whether you’re out for a walk, on your way to the beach or seafront, or simply looking for a calm spot away from the bustle of town, the Café is the perfect place to pause.

Our Menus

Our menus celebrate the best of Ayrshire’s produce, with a tempting range of breakfasts, lunches, light bites and sweet treats, plus a great choice of teas and coffees – with plant-based milks available too.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (last orders at 3:30pm), the Café is here for the whole community – whether you’re visiting the Hospice, meeting friends, or simply looking for somewhere new to enjoy good food and great coffee.

  • Accessibility – Gargowan Café is fully wheelchair and buggy friendly, with step-free access throughout. We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable here.
  • Parking – Free visitor parking is available on site, with dedicated disabled bays close to the main entrance for easier access.
  • Payment – We accept card and contactless payments as well as cash, making it simple and convenient however you choose to pay.

Sit in and soak up the atmosphere, or grab something to take away. However you choose to enjoy it, every visit helps support the work of the Ayrshire Hospice across the community.
