Visiting information during Covid-19 Pandemic

Please read this information carefully about the visiting arrangements we have in place here at the hospice.

During the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to put in place measures to protect our patients, their families and our staff. Regrettably, we have had to place restrictions on the numbers of people who can come into the hospice. We are taking these measures so that we can look after our patients, families and staff as well as we can during these extreme circumstances.

  • Patients are no longer required to have four nominated visitors. However, we are asking families to keep this to TWO visitors at one time and preferably from the same household.
  • Visiting in the In Patient Unit is restricted to two one hour slots - these slots are 2pm – 3pm and 7pm – 8pm
  • Groups of to 6 can visit in the garden.

As always individual needs will continue to be considered towards end of life to ensure that our compassionate approach continues
