VACANCY:              Maintenance Officer                  

SALARY:                 £20,383 - £21,939 pro rata            

REF:                        AH 25/20                             

HOURS:                  Part time hours – 18 per week

DURATION:            Temporary – until September 2021

LOCATION:             Ayr

 

We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join the team at the Ayrshire Hospice and help “make today matter” for all our patients and families.  Are you a caring “can do” person who has experience within the building, repair and maintenance industry?  If so we would love to hear from you.

In addition to having an adaptable and flexible approach you will need a current driving licence (be over 25 years of age due to insurance requirements) and preferably an understanding of Health and Safety Legislation.  As you will imagine working within the Hospice you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

The role includes routine maintenance, driving and security work along with portering across hospice premises.
