VACANCY:               Employee Development Adviser

SALARY:                    £24,851 - £31,336 (pro rata)

HOURS:                     35 hours per week

DURATION:             Permanent

LOCATION:             Racecourse Road, Ayr

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Organisational & People Development function supporting the delivery of the hospice People Strategy and ensuring employment policies and workforce plans are in line with national guidelines, regulatory standards, best practice and appropriate employment law. 

 

The postholder will provide professional and specialist HR advisory services facilitating the delivery of key HR operational objectives through the provision of comprehensive advice, support and guidance ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and fairness of application throughout the organisation. 

 

As Employee Development Adviser, you will also contribute to the development of the organisation’s Learning Strategy through the design and delivery of training programmes, which support people management and create a culture where continuous learning is seen as central to the delivery of care and achievement of organisational objectives. 

 

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in HR and/or acquired through equivalent post-graduate qualification and experience working within an HR field. An Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as a minimum with evidence of continuing professional development and training.

Demonstrable experience in the following are essential:

 

  • Implementing people and organisational development strategies
  • Management of complex ER issues
  • Policy development and review
  • Managing organisational change
  • Staff engagement
  • Resourcing & Planning
  • Learning & Development

 

Experience within a voluntary and/or health & social care environment is desirable however not essential.
