Taking place from the 5th-10th March 2020 you will travel to Rovaniemi in Finland before beginning your three-day adventure. The Arctic trek is considered “the best challenge ever” where you’ll make friends for life, take home memories that no pictures can impart, and where you will be part of something very few others will experience.

86 days 15 hours 4 mins 44 secs to go!

Event Details

If trekking up to 70km in temperatures as low as -30 degrees whilst dragging your equipment behind you in a pulk and sleeping in a tent along the Arctic Circle sounds amazing, then this perfect challenge for you!

In addition to the tougher side of the challenge, there will also be the opportunity to tick off a few popular bucket list items; see some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery and glistening snowdrifts, spend a night in the Arctic Snow Hotel, catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, but there is no guarantee that you will get to meet Santa Claus when you visit his official home town Rovaniemi.

Did you know?

  • Antarctica is colder than the Arctic – so it’s not that cold!!!!!!
  • Temperatures can drop to -68C but when you are trekking it will only be -30C!
  • The Arctic Circle marks the area where for a day a year there is 24 hours of daylight and a day a year there is 24 hours of darkness.
  • If you’re lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, they are approx. 100km or 60 miles from earth but yet can be seen so clearly.
Rovaniemi is really the hometown of Santa Claus - but don’t tell everyone or he’ll take you off his list!
