Set up a direct debit today to help us cover an extra day of care this leap year

For over thirty years, Ayrshire Hospice has been improving the life and wellbeing of adults in Ayrshire and Arran living with a life-limiting illness. We not only take care of people’s physical needs, we look after their emotional, spiritual and social needs as well.

Our care is provided free of charge for patients, their families and carers. However, we can only continue to do this with your support - it costs £22,000 a day to run the hospice and we have to raise £4.6m every year from voluntary donations.

An extra day in the year means an extra day of care is needed on 29 February. That means an additional £22,000 to continue making today matter for those who need us.

To help cover the costs, we are asking for you to take the leap and set up a regular payment by Direct Debit. It’s quick and easy to do, and enables you to give small amounts every month that will make a vital difference to our work.

By giving the Ayrshire Hospice as little as £10 a month, you will help us continue to:

  • Care for patients in their own homes with our team of Community Nurses who make over 3,172 home visits a year across Ayrshire and Arran.
  • Prepare over 10,000 meals a year for patients who are staying in our In-Patient Unit
  • Offer bereavement counselling and support to 475 people through our Patient and Family Support Service

Thank you for your support.
