Your kind support today will make sure our nurses are there when they're needed most

Over the past few years, more and more people living with a life-limiting illness chose to spend the time they have left at home with their loved ones. They are cared for and supported by our incredible team of Community Specialist Palliative Care Nurses and Senior Care Assistants.

The community team travels thousands of miles each year, looking after patients and their families, from Largs all the way down to Lendalfoot, and even across to Arran and Cumbrae.

Your donation will help us continue to be there, in the heart of our communities, caring for those who need us most.

Paula Fisher’s partner, Dave, was looked after in his home by our community team in November 2020. Please take time to read Paula’s story – she explains why our team of community nurses and care assistants are so special and so important.

As we begin to recover from the pandemic, all of our patients and their families continue to face an enormous challenge. Your support will allow our community team to continue to be there for patients and their loved ones – supporting, reassuring and helping to relieve the isolation and worry that life-limiting illnesses bring.

Donate now

  • A donation of £50 would help towards the cost of the very first home visit by our community team, to say hello to a new family and talk through all the ways we can help.

  • £75 would help towards the cost of our Respite and Response Team support patients and their families in their own home at times of crisis

  • £200 would help pay for one extra day of care for a patient in their own home

We really need your help to make sure our team is there, ready to respond and help families across the whole of Ayrshire and Arran.

Thank you, so much, for taking the time to read this and for your support!
