Education Department

Education at the Ayrshire Hospice covers many facets of both cancer and palliative care. We offer a range of courses for professional development, several of which have university accreditation.

The department is fortunate to have the services of a variety of internal and external speakers and lecturers, each of whom is an expert in their particular field.

Our aim is to provide high quality education that will enhance the care given to patients and their families in a variety of settings.

Our conference and education facilities allow us to provide a comfortable environment for students and course participants so that they can get the very best from the education and training provided. We have courses and study days suitable for nurses, doctors, AHPs, care assistants, and volunteers, and are also able to provide bespoke courses within our areas of expertise.
