Social Work
Our philosophy recognises the importance of addressing all aspects of patient and family care including their emotional, social, and practical needs. Our Social Worker assists in addressing these needs and providing necessary support.
This service is available to all patients whether at home or in the Hospice and also to their families and carers. Both individual and family support is provided, enabling those involved to express their feelings, take decisions, deal with their problems and questions, and cope with practical and financial issues which may arise.
