In the financial year 2009/10, it cost almost £5.6m to run all Hospice services. That's £10.65 per minute!.
NHS Ayrshire & Arran gave funding of £2.2m, with the balance of over £3.3m being raised from voluntary donations - meaning that £9,041 had to be actively fundraised every day to provide our services.
As a result, the Hospice relies heavily on the generosity of our community and all donations are very much appreciated.
